Trisha, who has been a Downtown Lee's Summit resident for more than 17 years, was named executive director in November 2011. The majority of her career was spent in the publishing/newspaper industry, primarily with The Kansas City Star and the Lee's Summit Journal, where she served as its editor from 2001 to 2006. After which, Trisha was the director of communications for the Aircraft Electronics Association, an international trade association headquartered in Lee's Summit, and the editor of its magazine. Most recently, she was director of a nonprofit arts organization.

For nearly as many years and she has lived in the Lee's Summit community, Trisha has been a volunteer for DLSMS. She was the recipient of DLSMS's Mary Stacy Ambassador of the Year Award in 2011 for her work in promoting the downtown area. She also was elected to two terms on the DLSMS board of directors. Through her work on the board, she has served on the Economic Restructuring Committee and has attended various revitalization and preservation training opportunities. Trisha is active with other nonprofit organizations and community committees, such as the Lee's Summit Arts Council and LS360's Community Branding Committee.

Sarah has been with DLSMS since October 2006, and currently serves as the Interim Executive Director. Sarah has worked with property owners on the exploration and implementation of a Community Improvement District, and assists with various  activities funded by the Old Lee’s Summit Development Master Plan, including the downtown banner program, hospitality training, smart parking initiatives, and business development seminars.   In her role as communications director, she managed all social media sites and the redesign of the organizational website.  She was the direct line of communication to all downtown stakeholders and downtown customers, sending out weekly e-mail updates to downtown businesses and monthly e-newsletters to downtown shoppers.  Sarah has held seminars on social networking for downtown business owners, and regularly consults with businesses and other organizations one-on-one about their social media sites.

Sarah received her Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2007.  She lives in Lee’s Summit, MO.

Stacy coordinates the Farmers Market, Downtown Days…Streets Alive! festival, Piccadilly Gala, St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and several other events with the help of many volunteers.  She has been involved in several retail and marketing campaigns and does most of the design work for the organization.  Stacy also serves on the Lee’s Summit Visitors Council and is a member of the Chamber Young Professionals.

Stacy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism and Spanish from the University of Central Missouri in 2008.  She currently resides in Lee’s Summit, MO.
