Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street, Inc. (DLSMS) is seeking volunteer bands to fill several open Friday evening time slots for the 2011 Music in the Park season. Downtown Lee’s Summit’s Music in the Park free Friday night concerts begin May 27 and run until Labor Day.
The concerts are free to the public and are held in Howard Station Park between 2nd & 3rd Streets on SE Main. Typically two bands or musicians play each Friday, beginning at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm. DLSMS seeks to have a variety of bands and musicians play at Music in the Park, and any genre is welcome.
