Downtown Lee’s Summit Farmers Market Hosts Spring Celebration May 14
The Downtown Lee’s Summit Farmers Market will be hosting their Spring Celebration on Saturday, May 14. The celebration will start at 8 a.m. and last until noon. The Farmers Market is located at the corner of Second and Douglas Streets in Downtown Lee’s Summit.
Shoppers can get fresh produce, baked goods, plants and more. There will also be live music, hot dogs, kettle corn and activities for kids. The first 150 customers will receive a free Farmers Market tote bag.
The Downtown Lee’s Summit Farmers Market is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to sell out. Shoppers can get fresh produce, plants, jams, baked goods, meats, eggs and a variety of handmade crafts.
The Downtown Lee’s Summit Farmers Market is hosted by Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the revitalization of Downtown Lee’s Summit, and sponsored in part by Bank of Lee’s Summit and Saint Luke’s East-Lee’s Summit.
