Theme for the Month: Celebrate the Farmer\\\'s Market!

An exciting, new summer festival is on its way to Downtown Lees Summit. Recently, Downtown Lees Summit Main Street announced the name and date for this new regional event: Downtown Days...Streets Alive!, which takes place June 6, 7 and 8, 2008, throughout the new streets and sidewalks of Downtown Lees Summit.

In several ways, Downtown Days will be similar to the former Old Tyme Days festival; however, the new annual event will reflect the image of the newly completed downtown streetscape. This updated festival will include three entertainment stages, fine arts & fine crafts vendors, a carnival, kids zone, car show, beer garden and much more.

Radio Disney will be performing on Saturday, June 7th! Watch for more details to come!
