ing the Downtown Lee's Summit Farmers Market, located at the corner of Second and Douglas streets in Downtown Lee's Summit. The Market is open from 7 a.m. to sell-out Wednesdays and Saturdays and features a variety of fresh produce, baked goods, crafts and much more. The market opens April 7, 2012, and runs through Nov. 24, 2012. Convenient parking can be found in the lot next to the Farmer Market on Douglas Street, or at the City Hall parking garage at the corner of Second and Green streets.
The Downtown Lee's Summit Farmers Market was named Missouri's favorite market in the America's Favorite Farmers Markets contest hosted by American Farmland Trust. The Downtown Lee's Summit Farmers Market also ranked No. 7 in the nation for the medium-sized market category.
