Downtown Lee's Summit is located just 20 miles southeast of Kansas City, MO. The heart of Downtown Lee's Summit is at 3rd & Douglas Streets. DRIVING DIRECTIONS -From the North: Take 1-29 South/US-71 South, continue on I-70 East towards St. Louis, merge onto I-470 South/MO-291 South towards Lee's Summit, exit and turn left onto Douglas Street. -From the East: Take I-70 West towards Kansas City, merge onto I-470/MO-291 South toward Lee's Summit, exit and turn left onto Douglas Street. -From the West: Take I-435 South, continue on I-470 East/US-50 East/US-71 South toward Grandview/Lee's Summit, merge onto I-470 East/US-50 East, exit and turn right onto Douglas Street. |

AMTRAK
Downtown Lee's Summit has an AMTRAK station located on SW Main Street, between Second and Third streets. The AMTRAK Missouri River Runner operates daily between Kansas City and St. Louis.
